Joaquin is a Manhattan born American Actor of Caribbean decent. After garnering network TV roles in “Billions”(Showtime), “The Blacklist”(NBC), “Elementary”(CBS), “For Life”(ABC), Dick Wolf’s Crime Dramas “F.B.I.”(CBS) and “Chicago P.D.(NBC), Joaquin’s breakout film role came in 2021 starring opposite Jonathan Rhse Meyers(“Tudors”, “Bend It Like Beckham”), in Joel David Moore’s psychological thriller, “Hide and Seek”.

After studying drama at Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia Joaquin studied the “Method” with Jean Shelton in San Francisco before returning to New York to study at the New Actors Workshop with Mike Nichols & Paul Sills. Joaquin then went on to study privately with legendary Acting Coach Elizabeth Kemp, former Associate Artistic Director at The Actors Studio, and credits her with with some of his most valuable growth as an Actor.
